Jerry Lee’s passion for racing began in 1965 when he transformed his father’s 1923 Ford Model TT truck into a 427-powered wheelie machine, thrilling fans across the U.S. and Canada. He made motorsport history in 1969 by breaking the wheelie distance record at Deer Park Raceway, covering 5,330 feet—a feat that remains legendary. Now 88, Jerry continues to race the same iconic truck alongside his son, Hoss, proving that age is no barrier to speed or ambition as he pursues one final, secret record.
